A proud veteran, Dewey served in the United States Army during the Korean War, exemplifying courage and duty during a time of great challenge. Following his military service, he applied his strength and skill as an iron worker and welder with Iron Worker Local 125. Dewey was a devoted member of St. Henry Catholic Church in Bridge City, where his faith played a central role throughout his life.
