Funeral services will be 10:00am, Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas. Officiating will be Pastor Mike Anderson. Burial will follow at Rest Haven in Silsbee, Texas.

 Visitation will be from 9:00am, Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas.

 Born January 8, 1950 in Silsbee Tx to Billy Gene Wilson and Melvia Penny Jarrell Wilson. She passed away peacefully on November 23, 2024 after a brief illness. Dina was raised in Silsbee graduating from Silsbee High School. She attended nursing school and spent many years working in this field. She married the love of her life Roger Brister in 1984. They lived happily in Houghton, LA then Silsbee until her Love went to our dear Lord July 4, 2013. A dedicated member of North Hardin Baptist Church, she found solace and community in her faith, cherishing the bonds she formed there. She had a vivacious spirit, with a particular joy for watching football, especially her beloved Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints.

 Dina spent her life devoted to her sons Jody and Kyle as well as her granddaughters who called her “Nana”. She was extremely proud of all four of them, often sharing their accomplishments with anyone she spoke to. She was completely devoted to the care of her son Kyle. Dina Jean Brister will be remembered not only for her unwavering love and support but also for her vibrant personality that brought joy to many. Her enduring spirit will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

 She is preceded in death by her parents, Billy Gene Wilson and Melvia Penny Jarrell Wilson and her husband, Roger Wayne Brister.

 Survived by her sons Jody Lee Gray and Jonathan Kyle Brister both of Silsbee; brother Robert Wilson and wife Frieda of Cleveland Tx; Roger Wilson and wife Emily of Silsbee; granddaughters Caitlyn Gray of Buffalo NY and Brianna Gray of Silsbee Tx as well as numerous extended family members from Texas and Louisiana.

 Serving as pallbearers will be Matt Edmonds, Larry Roberts, Ronnie Roberts, Blaine Frazier, Mike Grass and Derek Wilson.
