Dixie Lee Clinton Brint

Dixie Lee Clinton Brint, 91, of Orange passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2011 in Beaumont.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday February 26, 2011 at St. Paul?s United Methodist Church in Bridge City. Officiating will be Reverend Brad Morgan. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Mrs. Brint was born November 9, 1919 in Hugo, Oklahoma to James Taylor and Rosalie Ward Clinton. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul?s United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Democratic Party and on the Child Welfare Board.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harrah W. Brint; son, Kurke Clinton Brint and brothers, John Ward Clinton and James Morris Clinton.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons and daughters-in-law, James W. and Myrna E. Brint of Shreveport, LA and Wayne M. and Phyllis Brint of Little Cypress; daughter, Rosanne Weeks of Orange; nine grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Andy Haidusek, John Galey, Wesley Brint, Wade Brint, Lance Skinner and Todd Ener.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Paul?s United Methodist Church Children?s Department, 1155 W Round Bunch Rd, Bridge City, TX 77611 or to The Salvation Army, Southern Territory Headquarters, 1424 Northeast Expressway, Atlanta, GA 30329.
