Donald Robert Ickles, 41, of Orange, Texas, passed away on November 10, 2020, at his home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 14, 2020, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Rudy Elizonda of Well of Hope Christian Fellowship Church in Bridge City. A graveside service will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Corsicana, Texas at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 15, 2020.
Visitation will begin prior to the service at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, November 14, 2020, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Jefferson County, Texas, on April 9, 1979, he was the son of Donald Overton Ickles and Jean Ann (Brown) Ickles. Donald had a golden spirit and a pure soul. He never met a stranger and loved being around people. Donald was a sweet and loving man through and through and will be deeply missed by all those who met him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
He is survived by his parents, Donald and Jean Ann Ickles; brother, Billy Ray Brown; nephew, Blane Brown of Bridge City and his mother Jessica Thomas; uncles, Ricky Brown and wife Tracy of Corsicana, and Dan Ickles and wife Pat of Spring; along with numerous other cousins and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Well of Hope Christian Fellowship Church at 120 Bland Dr. Bridge City, Texas 77611.
