Donald J. LeBlanc

Donald J. LeBlanc, 82, died October 8, 2008, in Onalaska , TX . Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 11, 2008 at the Claybar Funeral Home temporarily located at the former Park Ave Methodist Church at 1408 Park Ave in Orange . Reverend Steve Leger of St. Henry's Catholic Church in Bridge City will be officiating. Entombment will follow at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City .
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2008. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Friday.
Don was born on December 14, 1925 in Port Arthur , TX to Ernest and Siva Viator LeBlanc. He worked as an equipment operator for Orange County Precinct 3 and was a veteran of the U S Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
Don is survived by his wife of 57 years, Florence LeBlanc of Bridge City; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald Anthony and Brenda LeBlanc and Gerald Joseph and Beverly LeBlanc, all of Orangefield. He also leaves four grandchildren; Ronald A Leblanc, Jr., Michelle Richardson, Adam Potts, and Brandy Cooper and six great-grandchildren; Audrey LeBlanc, Caitlyn Richardson, Texie LeBlanc, Austin Richardson, Brandon Cooper and Alauna Cooper and a brother, Ira LeBlanc of El Cajon, CA.
Serving as pallbearers will be Gerald LeBlanc, Ronald LeBlanc, Ronald LeBlanc, Jr., Shane Richardson, Michael Merritt and Chris LeBlanc.
