Donald Russell McCray, Jr., 62, of Orange, died Thursday, August 20, 2009.
A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
Donald was born on May 13, 1947 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was the son of Donald Russell McCray, Sr. and Ruth Mae Lozay McCray. He was a member of the Pierce Horse Shoe Club and also a great cook. Donald was a well traveled man and lived out of the country for many years including Spain. He was considered a good man and loved his family very much.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Julia Ilene Hammerly McCray of Orange; step-daughter, Dominique Gray and husband, Anthony of Mauriceville; step-sons, Jacob Paul Pierce of Appaloosas, Cody Paul Pierce of Crockett, and Stoney Paul Pierce and wife, Pamela Tyur of Crockett; daughter, Lorraine Miranda McCray; grandchildren, Isabella, Caleb, and Milena Gray, Brandon Brooks, Taylor Pierce, and Crowley Pierce; sisters, Cherie Hunt and Paulianna Porres; and brothers, Raymond Streussnig and Ted Streussnig, Jr.
