Donald T. Hastain

Donald T. Hastain, 87, of Bridge City, died Monday, September 24, 2007.
A Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 2, 2007, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Chaplain Gary Grantham of Odyssey Hospice will officiate. Inurnment will follow at St. Paul Episcopal Urn Garden in Orange.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Donald was born January 6, 1920, in Willows, CA, to Thomas Marion Hastain and Vivian Jenks Hastain.
Mr. Hastain served in the U. S. Navy during WWII and retired after 20 years service. Donald also retired from Firestone after 20 years.
Mr. Hastain was a member of the VFW and a charter member of the Orange County Duplicate Bridge Club. He was also an avid golfer.
He was preceded in death by his parents,
Thomas and Vivian Hastain and his loving wife, Vivian of 63 years.
He is survived by his daughter Jacqueline McClintock and her husband Jack of Bridge City and a daughter, Jeanette Wade of Livingston; five grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in Donald?s name to their favorite charity.
