Donald Blair Thomas, 83, of Austin, Texas, passed away on December 20, 2017, at his home.

Born in Orange, Texas, on June 11, 1934, he was the son of Blair Alton Thomas and Elenor Gladys (Kimball) Thomas. He worked as an engineer for Lower Colorado River Authority.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Blair and Elenor Thomas; and siblings, Charles Thomas, Mary Ann Leger, and Helen Jane Thomas.

Donald is survived by his brother, Gerald Thomas and wife Sharon; and his niece, Amy Thomas.

A private burial will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
