We are sad to announce the passing of Donald R. Troth, 92, born in Valley Falls, Kansas. Widow of Betty DeVersa Troth. He passed away with his daughter and granddaughter at his bed side, Sunday June 11, 2023, at 7:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, WV. May the Lord be with him.
Donald was the son of M.W. Troth and Mabel Conner of Valley Falls, Kansas. He was a Veteran and served 5 years in the Airforce. He was employed for 40 years and retired from Kansas City Southern Railroad. He was a resident at Tomball Assisted Living in 2018.
Don is preceded in death by his sons, Dale and David Troth; wife Betty DeVersa Troth, Chuck DeVersa; Brooksie DeVersa Griffin, ex-wife, Kathy Troth; and his brother, John Troth.
He is survived by his daughter, Debra Wilks and husband, Roger; granddaughter, Amy Slone and husband, Scott; great grandson, Gavin Davis; children of Betty DeVersa Troth, Rodney DeVersa (Donna), Cheryl DeVersa Anger, Joe DeVersa (Denise), Mariana DeVersa Vigil (David), and Ronnie DeVersa; numerous grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
His services will be healed at Claybar Funeral home, Monday June 19th, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
