Doris M. Boothe, 84, of Beaumont passed away April 25, 2007 at The Oaks at Beaumont.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2007 at St. Marks Episcopal Church in Beaumont.
Mrs. Boothe was born September 9, 1923 in London, England to James Thomas and Violet May Walsh McCormack. In 1946, she left England to marry her husband, Howard Boothe and started her family. She became an American citizen in 1975. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She had many friends and especially enjoyed lunch with the ?Thursday Group?. She cherished her trips back to England to visit her family and many friends there.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Lawana McClelland and husband Michael of Beaumont; brother, Ronald McCormack; sisters, Rhoda M. Brazil, Hilda J. Goode of England and Renee Dash of Canada; grandson, Andrew Michael McClelland and Amy Delavergne of Baytown; great grandchildren, Jenni, Rose and Grace.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Howard Boothe and son, Paul Boothe.
