Mrs. Doris Ann Land, a beloved pillar of strength, left behind a legacy of love and kindness will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her. She lived a life rich in faith, family values, and selflessness to her community. Doris was not just a matriarch; she was the heart and soul of her family. Her grandchildren affectionately called her "Ammaw," a testament to the special bond she shared with them. Her unwavering faith and devotion to her family defined her existence, and she served as the glue that held them together through thick and thin. A dedicated member of the First Baptist Church in Nederland, Doris's commitment to her beliefs shone brightly in every aspect of her life. Whether through her volunteer work as a firefighter, or with the Bridge City and Orange County Police Departments, and also with Emergency Medical Services, Doris touched countless lives with her selfless actions.
