Doris Madeline Green, 91, of Orange, Texas, died Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at St. James Nursing Home in Baytown.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 10, 2010, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange.
Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service on Friday, at the funeral home in Orange.
Born in Upshur County, Texas on May 15, 1919, Doris was the daughter of Jerry H. and Martha Arena Johnson Dean. Serving her family and helping others and her love and faith in God were the basis of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Green; granddaughter, Sarah Madeline Harrod; and her 13 brothers and sisters.
Doris is survived by her daughters, Brenda Green of Baytown, and Leta Green of Houston; 4 grandchildren, Danny Ringer, Steven Ringer, Scott Watkins and Jennifer Watkins; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
