Dorothy Mae Anglin, 72, of Orange, passed away on April 16, 2014, at Answered Prayer living facility in Orange.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Chad Scales, Keegan Smith, Anthony Gunn, Joseph Sonnier Jr., and Brandon LeBlanc. Honorary pallbearers will include, Jeremy Sonnier and Jordan LeBlanc.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Orangefield, Texas, on October 10, 1941, she was the daughter of Levastie LeBlanc Sr. and Hortense Bergeron. Dorothy was a dedicated homemaker, and worked, alongside her husband, as a beekeeper for twenty-five years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who will be deeply missed.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, J.C. LeBlanc, Butch LeBlanc, and Leona LeBlanc. She is survived by her husband of fifty-four years, Billy M. Anglin; daughters, Cheri Walston and husband, Rick, Cindy Gunn and husband, Chris, Linette Bell and husband, Dennis; grandchildren, Chad Scales and wife Desiree, Keegan Smith, Anthony Gunn, Joseph Sonnier Jr., Brandon LeBlanc, Kaycie Gunn, and Keelie Smith; great-granddaughter, Rylee Scales; siblings, J.W. LeBlanc, Levastie LeBlanc Jr., Margaret Saucier, and Mae McGowan.
