Mother's main interest was that of being a wife, mother, and homemaker. When we were growing up, she was very involved in our school activities. She was a long time member of the Bridge City First Baptist Church. At one time, she was a member of the Orange "Anniversary" club and the Orange County "Home Demonstration" club. Dot enjoyed painting, traveling, sewing, gardening, doll making, and crafting of all kinds. She was a very creative lady!
