Dorothy Mae "Dot" Nezat, 82, of Orange, Texas died Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2010 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Joseph P. Daleo. Entombment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Friday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
Born in Port Barre, Louisiana on June 6, 1928, Dot was the daughter of Eleanor Ardoin and Clifford Eldridge. She was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eleanor and Clifford Eldridge; husband Curtis Nezat; and daughter Gail Hazelwood.
Dot is survived by her daughter, LaJuan Navarre of Port Arthur; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Hattie Stoute of Port Barre, Louisiana.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Bryon Herman, Drew Herman, Bill Herman, Carlton Murillo, Joseph Bryan, and Jared Bryan. Honorary Pallbearer will be Michael Murillo.
