Doyle Lon Egan, 66, of Orange, passed away Monday, January 13, 2014, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Funeral services will be 10am, Thursday, January 16, 2014, at Old First Orange Baptist Church with Reverend Keith Myers officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.
Visitation will be from 5pm to 9pm, Wednesday at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Orange, Texas, on September 21, 1947, Doyle was the son of Eddie E. Egan and Katie Belle (Doyle) Egan. He enjoyed his work and fishing as a getaway. Doyle also loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife of 41 years, Janet Egan; sons, Tige Egan and wife, Hillary, Eddie Egan; daughter, Stacy Dumesnil and husband, Ricky; and granddaughter, Katie Dumesnil.

Janet, Your husband was always so nice to my sons, Charles Elliott and Stephen Elliott when they played baseball @ McLewis with your boys. We lived on Tulane Road then.
