Ed Nutter, 68, of Beaumont, was born March 3, 1946 in Barberton, Ohio to Haymond Eugene and Mildred (Hall) Nutter and passed away April 11, 2014 in Beaumont. Ed was a former resident of Spencer West Virginia and Palestine, Texas and lived in Beaumont off and on during his life. He had returned to Beaumont three months ago to be near his children.
Ed was a mechanic and had worked for several dealerships specializing in transmission repair. He loved the outdoors and riding his Harley.
He is survived by his mother, Mildred Nutter of Spencer West, Virginia; children, Eddie Nutter of Beaumont, Tonya Nutter of Orange, Shane Nutter of Beaumont, Kaley Scott of Beaumont and Jeremy Wheat of Vidor. Ed is also survived by his grandchildren, Kane Torres, Dawson Wells, Brylee Davis, Summer and Payton Nutter, Avery and Emmalynn Scott, Kaide and Keilan Wheats, and Kendol Basinger; brothers, Nathion and Joe Nutter; and sisters, Rita Little and Immodene Stenzel.
A memorial service honoring Ed’s life will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Templo Bautista, 990 Avenue D, Beaumont, Texas.
