Edith Burleigh Metrejean, 94, died on December 28, 2008. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 2, 2009, at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Bridge City. Reverend Steven Leger will be the celebrant. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Visitation will be at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City on Thursday, January 1, 2009, from 5 until 8 p.m. A rosary will be at 6 p.m.
Mrs. Metrejean is survived by her daughters; Erma Youngblood and husband Douglas, Jacquelyn Jungen and husband Ray; 17 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandsons.
