Edith Fisk, 92, of Orange, Texas, died Monday, February 14, 2011, at Baptist Hospital in Orange.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, February 17, 2011, in the chapel of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Pastor Paul Zoch, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Orange.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 18, 2011, at Krasna Cemetery in Wallis, Texas.
Edith was born in Tavener, Texas on April 27, 1918, the daughter of Annie and Paul Kovar. She moved to Orange in 1972 and became a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was also a member of the Orange County Senior Citizen Group and was a volunteer with Friends Helping Friends for 18 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Fisk; five sisters and three brothers.
Edith is survived by her sister, Lou Wells of Houston; brother, Ray Kovar of Pasadena and many nieces and nephews.
