Edward Michael “Mike” Green, 71, of Orange, Texas, passed away on November 27, 2019, in Vidor, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at Ninth and Elm Church of Christ in Orange. Officiating will be Ben Terry. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, December 2, 2019, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Gilmer, Texas, on July 3, 1948, he was the son of Edward Green and Vonda Green. Mike worked as a warehouse manager for Print Pack for many years, and was also a member of the Little Cypress Volunteer Fire Department. He was a faithful member of Ninth and Elm Church of Christ. Mike was a loving father and grandfather. He loved watching his son and grandson play baseball. Mike will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Green; his loving wife, Diane Green; his brother, David Green; his sister-in-law, Betty Boyd; and his brother-in-law, Darrell Terry.
He is survived by his mother, Vonda Green; his children, Terry Green and wife Samantha of Vidor, Jeremy Green and wife Jana of Orange, Brianne Green and Rusty Marange of Orange; his grandchildren, Slade Green, Tayler Green, Jaxon Green, Brayden Marange, Averianne Marange, Kenzington Green, Mallory Robinson, and Bryce Robinson; his siblings, Stevie Jones and husband Shawn, Toni Terry, Evie DiLeo and husband Kevin, Kay Martinka, Milton Lollar, Millie Procella, and John Lollar; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.
