Eileen Gronning, 81 was born February 22, 1932 in Beaumont, TX to Ellen Tanner Kuhl and Walter Kuhl and passed away September 18, 2013 in Silsbee, TX. Mrs. Gronning was a long-time resident of Beaumont prior to relocating for a brief period of time in Silsbee. She was employed as a draftsman with Dollinger Steel prior to her retirement.
A gathering of family and friends will take place Friday, September 20 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, September 21, at the funeral home, officiated by Reverend Terry Brown. Interment will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
Mrs. Gronning is survived by her daughter, Kay Kirby and husband, Jim of Woodville; her grandchildren; Julie Harris, Mike and Matt Sheffield and Jimmy and Chad Kirby; 18 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and her first husband, Donald Ingle. She was preceded in death by her second husband, Jim Gronning, her parents and her sisters, Gloria Fredricks and Sophia Baldwin and her brother, Jim Kuhl.
