Elena Wah de Villegas, 82, of Beaumont passed away Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Harbor Hospice.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church in Beaumont. Officiating will be Father Luis Urriza. Cremation will follow.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Claybar Kelley Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m.
Born in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico on February 7, 1934, she was the daughter of Charles Wah Wong and Enriqueta Chiang Wah. She was a loving wife and mother and took care of the home. She was a lifetime Catholic and longtime member of Cristo Rey Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Manuel Wah and Jesus Wah and sister, Carmela Wah de Gomez.
She is survived by her husband, Raul G. Villegas of Beaumont and children, Elena Russell, Guadalupe Powell, Norma Perrella, Lidia V. Dattalo, Lourdes Nieberding, Raul Villegas, Jr. and Armando Villegas. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jessica R. Tullier, Monica A. Whatley, Stacey L. Thomas, Michael G. Russell, Daniel S. Russell, Laura Mayor, William Perrella, Ashley D. Dattalo, Amanda L. Dattalo, Shawn S. Dattalo, Megan Nieberding, James Nieberding, Sophia A. Villegas, Isabelle A. Villegas, Alizee Villegas and Aziel Villegas; 2 great grandchildren; brothers, Martin Wah, Carlos Wah, Roberto Wah and Luis Wah and sister, Margarita Wah de Ibarra.
