Elizabeth Reese Greeves

Elizabeth Reese Greeves passed away on September 25, 2013 at the Hampton at Tanglewood in Houston, Texas. She was born to Jeptha and Elma Connell Reese in Henderson, Texas on October 16, 1910.
A service of worship remembering her life will be held Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of First Baptist Church, 900 Calder, Beaumont, Texas with a reception to follow in the parlor of the church.
She was a lifelong resident of Beaumont and a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Beaumont. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Greeves, and her daughter, Susan Greeves Moody.
She is survived by her son, Sam Greeves, Jr. and wife, Diane of Kingwood, Texas; eight grandchildren, Kathryn Johnson and her husband, Dr. Randy Johnson of Houston, Steve Moody and his wife, Ophella of Austin, Kevin Moody of Houston, Scott Greeves of Tempe, Arizona, Leah Greeves, Tyler Greeves of San Antonio, Matthew Greeves of Kingwood and Elizabeth Greeves of Kingwood; three great-grandchildren, Becca Johnson, Megan Johnson and Will Johnson, all of Houston; and her sister, Marian Beam of Beaumont.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to First Baptist Church of Beaumont.
