Elizabeth A. ?Tootie? McBride, 73, of Orange, died Monday, July 16, 2007, at her residence.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Orange, with clergy from the Catholic Diocese of Beaumont serving as celebrants.
Burial will follow at St. Mary?s Cemetery in Orange.
Visitation will begin Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. and a Christian Vigil service will be at 7:00 p.m. at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Waverly, Kentucky on August 3, 1933, she was the daughter of Marshall T. and Elizabeth A. Thomas Peak.
A resident of Orange for the past 47 years, Mrs. McBride was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Women of St. Francis, St. Francis Adult Choir and the Resurrection Choir.
Preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Elizabeth Peak; sister, Rita Davis; and brother, Tommy Peak, she is survived by her husband of 51 years, Stronnie S. McBride of Orange; daughters, Karen McBride of Orange, Lisa McBride of Plano; sister, Mary Patricia Leek of Owensboro, Kentucky.
Also surviving are her grandchildren, Beth Mooneyham and her husband Terry, Laura Kovatch, Heather Olsen, Eric S. Olsen; and great grandchildren, Logan Michal and Taylynn Alexis Olsen.
