Elizabeth “Ann” McLelland, 89, of Orange, Texas, passed away on March 18, 2024, at her daughter’s home in Cedar Creek, Texas.

Born in Marion County, Texas, on April 14, 1934, she was the daughter of Mark Wolaver, Jr. and Faye A. Wyatt Wolaver. Ann was known for her unwavering devotion to her loved ones. Family was at the core of her being, and she found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren, who affectionately called her "Nanny". She created countless memories by traveling with her husband and grandkids, with trips to Disney World holding a special place in their hearts.

In addition to her dedication to her family, Ann found solace and community in her Jehovah’s Witness. She derived great comfort from the bonds shared within her Witness family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Faye Wolaver; her husband, Jack McLelland; her siblings, Billy Frank Wolaver, and Emogean Oney; and her son, Mark McLelland.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbi Bailey; her grandchildren, Jared Bailey, Andrea Woodruff and husband, David, Will McLelland, Teresa Moschettieri and husband, Sandy, and Timothy McLelland; her great-grandchildren, Britten, Emory, Davis, and Kingsley Woodruff; her sister-in-law, Jo Young; and numerous other loving family members and friends.

We all here in the Orange, Texas, West congregation ( formerly the Oak) misses Ann presence with us. She was there for decades, very active. She and Jack kept photos of their friends. Sometimes Ann would "air drop" you a picture that jarred your memory. We look forward to seeing her and others we lost in the "new creation".

Ann was such a dear friend. She was always ready to visit, tell stories and share pictures. She didn't consider herself too old to learn new tricks. She was steady, positive, always ready to share the good news of God's Kingdom with others and fun to be with. It was difficult to see old age take it's toll on her but as Ann always said, 'we will be together soon and we make new memories with our new healthy bodies'. Until we meet again, Dear Ann.
