Elwood J. Credeur, Jr. 60, of Port Neches, passed away peacefully at home with family in Orange, Texas on Tuesday, November 2, 2021
Born in Lafayette, Louisiana on December 26, 1960 and lived in Port Neches, Texas his whole life. He was the son of Elwood J. Credeur, Sr. and Elise (Stoute) Credeur. He worked many construction jobs during the years. He also took care of his parents in their later years. He was always there when family and friends needed anything. He loved going to gatherings with the family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elwood and Elise (Stoute) Credeur; and grandparents, Clebert and Marie Stoute, and Onezime and Celanie Credeur.
He is survived by his siblings, Elizabeth White and husband Jeff, Suzanne Theriot and husband Glen and Michael Credeur and wife Anne; nieces, Chelsy (White) Slaughter, Rena Credeur and Emily Credeur; nephews, Toby White, Eric Credeur and Justin Theriot; great-nieces, Addy and Miya; and great-nephews, Max and Stetson.
The family will be holding a memorial service at a later date.
