Emma Jean Stanfield, 79, of Orange, died Thursday June 2, 2011, in Lake Charles.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2011, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange with Reverend Lynn Ashcraft and Reverend Scott McIntosh officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Orange.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Born in Diboll, Texas on December 14, 1931, Emma was the daughter of Mark W. and Othal V. Womack Cook. She retired from the City of Orange where she was an accounting secretary and she was a member of North Orange Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, Henry L. Stanfield, Emma is survived by her brother, James Cook; nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
