Emron Idell Smith, 85, of Orange, died on August 13, 2009 in Orange.
Graveside Services will be 1:00p.m., Sunday, August 16, 2009 at King Cemetery. Officiating will be Reverend Danny Brack.
Visitation will be from 10:00a.m.-12:00p.m., Sunday, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange.
Emron was born on December 12, 1923, in DeQuincy, Louisiana. She was the daughter of Martin and Emma Katie Smith. Emron was a homemaker, wonderful cook, loved the outdoors, and fishing with her husband.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond; four brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, William Herschel and Lou Etta Smith and Raymond and Gwen Smith; daughter and son-in-law, Virginia Colleen Smith Miller and husband Weldon, all of Orange; eleven grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; brothers,
Arnold Smith of Starks, Louisiana, and Frank Smith of Navasota, Texas; sisters, Mary Corry of Pearland, Texas, Barbara Weeks, and Sadie Welch, both of Orange.
