Era Evelyn Fowler, 84, of Orange, Texas, passed away on November 7, 2018, in Port Arthur, Texas.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Pastor Barry Bradley. Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 12, 2018, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Beaumont, Texas, on July 6, 1934, she was the daughter of Floyd Crumpler and Willie Mae (Cook) Crumpler. Era loved to garden and crochet. She worked in the nursery at First Baptist Church in Orange, where she enjoyed watching after the children. Era will be dearly missed by all those who came to know and love her deeply.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Willie Mae Crumpler; daughter, Debbie Daly; and daughter-in-law, Shannon Fowler.
She is survived by her children, Paula Oathoudt, John Wayne Fowler, William Fowler, David Fowler, and Daniel Fowler; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
