Eric Todd Peveto

Eric Todd Peveto, a man known for his ability to bring happiness to every room he entered, passed away on September 27, 2026. Born in Beaumont, Texas, on September 21, 1970, Eric lived a life marked by warmth, humor, and an unwavering positive spirit.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at Peveto Family Cemetery in Orange.

Visitation will begin prior to the service at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Eric had a remarkable ability to find the good in every situation. His infectious laugh and easygoing nature made him a joy to be around, and he was loved by everyone he met. A gifted storyteller, he captivated audiences with his tales and his great sense of humor. He was also known for his bright, colorful socks that, true to his unique style, never quite matched his attire. In his youth, Eric distinguished himself as an All-State running back in high school. He went on to serve his community as an attorney for 30 years in Orange, where he was also a respected member of the Orange County Bar Association. When Eric married the love of his life, Becca, he wholeheartedly embraced her passions, becoming a devoted supporter of her students' volleyball and track endeavors.

Eric is survived by his loving wife of almost 17 years, Becca Peveto; his parents, Wayne and Sandra Peveto; his children, Ryder Sinnett, Colton Peveto, and Patton Peveto; his brother, Rex Peveto and wife Robin; his nieces and nephews, Taylor Peveto and wife Abigail, Justice Peveto, and Eli Peveto and wife Amy; and numerous other loving family members and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Taylor Peveto, Justice Peveto, Eli Peveto, Brent Peveto, Tommy White, and Jeff Mathews.

Eric's legacy of joy, kindness, and an indomitable spirit will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. “It’s all good”.
