Estelle Denton, 90, of Orange, Texas, passed away on October 28, 2017 in Orange, Texas.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 30, 2017, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, Texas. Officiating will be Reverend David Turner of Little Cypress Baptist Church in Orange, Texas. Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in Orange, Texas.
Visitation will be at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, October 29, 2017, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, Texas.
Born in Aloha, Louisiana, on October 27, 1927, she was the daughter of Willie Paul Bullitt and Annie Louvenia Bullitt. Estelle was an active member of Little Cypress Baptist Church for over 62 years. She was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother, and sister. Estelle had a huge heart and loved her family dearly. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Hy Denton; brother, Bertman Bullitt; daughter, Rhonda Alsandor; and great-grandson Chris Jones.
She is survived by her sons Ronnie Denton and wife, Kirby of Orange, Texas, Greg Denton and wife, Danna of Orange, Texas; grandchildren Mylissa Denton, Rodney “Skipper” Denton and wife, Patti, Maranna Barfield, Taylor Denton, Korey Denton, Ryan White and wife, Ashley, Victoria Alsandor, Nicholas Alsandor, Elly Garner and husband, Michael, and Robyn Ewers; 11 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren and sisters, Effie Crawford of Orange, Pauline Cooper of Orange, and Doris Sonnier of Claxton, GA.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ronnie Denton, Greg Denton, Nicholas Alsandor, Ryan White, Rodney “Skipper” Denton, and Korey Denton.
