Ethel Mae Breaux, 72, of Orange, passed away on April 8, 2020, in Beaumont.
Born in Orange, Texas, on May 9, 1947, she was the daughter of Lawrence Hebert Sr. and Joy (McLain) Hebert. Ethel enjoyed oil painting, sewing, making jewelry, flowers, and fishing. She loved being outdoors and spending time at the beach. Above all of the other joys in her life, Ethel treasured her family more than anything. She was very close to her sisters, brother, children, and grandson, and spent as much time as she could with them. Ethel had an impact on everyone she met and will be dearly missed by all those who came to know and love her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Joy Hebert; husband, Gerald Earl Breaux, Sr.; son, Joseph Lawrence Breaux; sisters, Marie Breaux and Pam Diemer; and brother, Lawrence Hebert, Jr.
She is survived by her children, Gerald Earl Breaux Jr. and wife Nina of Port Arthur, Melissa “Missy” Breaux of Orange, and Mykal Breaux of Beaumont; grandchild, Hunter Felts of Orange; great-grandchild, Cameron Felts; and sister, Cindy Fields and husband Ronnie of Bridge City; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
