Ethel Marie Buquet Fenwick, 83, of Orange, Texas, passed away on September 26, 2017, in Vidor, Texas.
Born in Houma, Louisiana, on December 24, 1933, Ethel was the daughter of Fred J. Buquet, Sr. and Lucretia Lirette Buquet. She was an avid golfer when she was younger. Ethel enjoyed spending her time quilting, gardening, and dancing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Fenwick; parents, Fred and Lucretia; son, Michael Armetta, of Houma, LA; and her siblings, J.B. Buquet, of South Carolina, Fred Buquet Jr., of Morgan City, LA, Elsie Mae Buquet Anderson, of Florida, and Betty Lirette Bergeron, of Houma, LA.
Ethel is survived by her sister, Audrey Buquet Reves, of Orange; grandson, William Ellis IV, of West Lafayette, Indiana; niece, Billie Kay Melanson, of Orange; and nephew, James D. Reves, of Orange.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home. Ethel’s life was honored with a private family memorial service.
