Etta Aselyn Culver
Etta Aselyn Culver, 75, of Orange, Texas, passed away on September 17, 2018, in Orange.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 21, 2018, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Chaplain Dave lee Darbyshire. Burial will take place at Union Baptist Cemetery in Quitman, Louisiana, following the service at 4:00 p.m.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Thursday, September 20, 2018, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Eagan, Tennessee, on June 17, 1943, she was the daughter of Titus E. St. Andre and Jocelyn (Adkins) St. Andre. Etta loved to spend her time crocheting everything, specifically baby blankets, reading, and watching judge shows. She was a very sociable person, who had a big heart and would give the shirt off of her back to anyone who needed it, giving until it hurt. Etta will be dearly missed by all those who came to know and love her.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Odie Earl Culver; and children, Titus Culver, Amanda Elizabeth Culver, and Enoch Anthony Culver.
She is survived by her children, Lynnie Bedgood and husband Roger of Natchitoches, Louisiana, Lori Darbyshire and husband Dave of Spanish Fort, Alabama, Julie Wallace and husband Mike of Natchitoches, Louisiana, Rebecca Kitchens and husband Reece of Austin, Texas, Thomas Culver of Tennessee, Eric Culver of Vidor, Hughie Culver of Orange, Ethan “Matthew” Culver of Big Spring, Texas, Aaron Eli Culver of Orange; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, John Troquille, and Glen St. Andre; and sisters, Shanda Florane, Vivian Brown, Cynthia Lucky, and Tammy Raynes.
