Eva Beatrice Rowles
November 15, 1921 — December 25, 2010
Eva Beatrice Rowles passed away peacefully in her sleep the morning of December 25, 2010.
Eva's survivors include her daughter, Teresa Rae Williams; granddaughter, Rachael Holt; son, David LeDeaux III and wife, Beth Ann; grandson, David LeDeaux IV and wife, Kinley and their son, her great-grandson, Adrian Ray; and her nephew, Howard Lee Hill.
Eva was preceded in death by her mother, Bessie Goins; father, Stanley Garrison; step-father, Lee F. Goins; brother, Lee F. Goins Jr.; sister, Mary Grimes; and daughter, Linda Ann Murphy.
She was a loving and caring person who will be missed deeply by her survivors. Eva was a retired LVN who dedicated a large portion of her life to caring for elderly and infirm people. She was an avid reader and took an interest in novels and history. She had an appreciation for nature and loved animals. She had a wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed cooking and could produce some savory meals.
In our circle of life there is no end. What seems to be an end of one thing is only the beginning of something new; death is also a part of life. Eva's earth walk is done and she has gone to join her departed loved ones.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2010 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home. A graveside service will be on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
