Eva Jane Turner

Eva Jane Turner, 85, of Orange , passed away on October 9, 2014, at Pinehurst Nursing Home in Orange.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Jay Thomas of MacArthur Heights Baptist Church in Orange. Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn in West Orange.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m., October 12, 2014 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Orange, Texas, on September 8, 1929, she was the daughter of Arthur Pattillo and Linnie Dorman Pattillo. Eva enjoyed fishing, shopping, going to the casino and especially cooking for everyone. She was a loving mother, sister, wife and friend. She brought joy to those that were around her and will be missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Turner; her brothers and sisters, Bruce Pattillo, Charlie Pattillo, Wynn Pattillo, Inez Williams, and Wynona Freeman.

She is survived by a daughter, a grandson, a great-granddaughter, a nephew and numerous other nephews, nieces and loving friends.
