Evelyn Ruth Babin, 76, of West Orange, died Saturday, December 15, 2007 at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Pastor Paul Zoch of St. Marks Lutheran Church.
Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:30-9:00 p.m., Monday at Claybar Funeral Home.
Evelyn was born on February 11, 1931, in Port Arthur. She was a caring and loving wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deloris Pinion and husband, Capt. D.J. Babin.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son and daughter-in-law, Dan Babin and Sheila of Orange; daughters and sons-in-law, Maggie Jackson and Scott of Orange and Edy Broussard and Nick Fea of Lumberton; seven grandchildren, Ray, Mike, West, Stacy, Amy, Krissy, and Sheri; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister.
Serving as pallbearers are West Broussard, Ray Holeman, Cody Bishop, Tristen Tompkins, Tyler Abshire, Mike Babin, and Jeff Johnnie.
