Faye was born in Orange, Texas on November 6, 1932 to Roy E. Martin and Alberta Burch Martin. She was a 1950 graduate of Lutcher Stark High School in Orange and a member of the Bengal Guards. Faye was a bookkeeper and had worked for many years as the office manager for Hubbard Electric Co. She later went to work for Economy Insulation and retired from there in 1999.
Never has there been a greater Mother, Grandmother, Wife or Daughter. Her family always came first and everything else could always wait because there was nothing more important in her life. She had the sweetest and kindest smile that could brighten up any room. Words cannot express how badly she will be missed.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 34 years, Ted Linscomb. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Michael Bourgeois of Orange, son Jimmy LaComb of Flint, Texas and son and daughter-in-law Dale and Peggy Bond of Tomball, Texas. Granddaughters, Amy Chad Langston and Kari Brown. Grandsons, Jarred Chrissy LaComb and D.J. Bond and three great-grandchildren, Michael, Reese and Cambree.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy LaComb, Michael Bourgeois, Chad Langston, Jarred LaComb, Dale Bond, and Robert Pool.
Special thanks to all of the wonderful staff at Vidor Health and Rehabilitation where Mom spent the last three years of her life. We could not have asked for more loving care and attention. Also thanks to Hospice of Texas for their excellent care.
