Felix Roy Hebert, 87, of Bridge City, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2009.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange, with Pastor Dale Lee, pastor of the Cowboy Church, officiating.
Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home in Orange.
Felix was born in Port Arthur on June 24, 1921 and had lived in Bridge City for the past 48 years. He retired from Texaco Refinery after 36 years of service and was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church in Bridge City.
Felix was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII where he served as an exterior guard for the 74th Station Hospital.
Preceded in death by his son, Eddie Dean Istre and great granddaughter, Jayla Skye Cogar, Felix leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Nettie Lucille Hebert; daughters, Lucy Casey and her husband, Glenn, Debbie Istre Guillot, Rosemary Hebert McClanahan, Louise Hebert; son, Felix C. Hebert and his wife, Amy; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Cogar, Sr., Nathan Casey, Jardon Cane, Glenn Casey, Felix C. Hebert and Kevin Guillot.
