Flora Franceine Tuppen, 70, of Bridge City, died Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at her residence.
Friends are invited to join the family for a graveside service to be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 17, 2014, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City. Officiating will be Pastor Scott McIntosh, pastor of North Orange Baptist Church in Orange. Services are under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
There will be no visitation.
Born in Orange on November 15, 1943, she was the daughter of Raymond H. and Doris (Smith) Clark. She was a registered nurse having worked at St. Mary Hospital and an area nursing home.
Franceine was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward “Jimmy” Tuppen. She is survived by her brother, Howard C. Smith of Charlotte, North Carolina; two half-sisters and numerous cousins and friends.
