Flossie D. Watley

Flossie D. Watley, 92, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at her home.
Funeral Services will be at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, August 14, 2010, at First Baptist Church in Sour Lake. Rev. Bill Fabriguze will be officiating with Rev. Ken Ellzey assisting. Interment will follow at Liberty City Cemetery in Liberty.
Visitation will be from 6–9:00 p.m. Friday at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home.
Mrs. Watley was born November 13, 1917, in Livingston to Tommy and Laura Roberts Tanner. In 1939, she moved to Sour Lake and was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Sour Lake for 69 years and she taught Sunday school for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, E.M. "Spud" Watley; sons, Ronnie Watley and Monroe Watley and eight of her brothers and sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory are her grandson, Russell Watley of Sour Lake; granddaughter and husband, Stefanie and Todd Osiek of Ballwin, MO; great grandchildren, Alicia and Aaron Osiek of Ballwin, MO and sister, Eloyce Moerbe of North Richland Hills. She is also survived by her very special friend, Carolyn Robinson and her husband, Martin Ray of Sour Lake; numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Rodney Uptigrove, Walter Thedford, Kenneth Austin, Douglas Tanner, Gene Tanner and Martin Ray Robinson.
