Frances Schellinger Sapaurx, 91, of Beaumont, Texas passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2008 in Huntsville, Texas surrounded by her husband, grandson and wife.
Frances was born July 12, 1917 to Robert and Jenny Schellinger. In 1935 she was married to Patrick J. Sapaurx. They celebrated 73 years of marriage in January of this year.
Frances was a homemaker until 2002 when she became a resident of College Street Nursing Home. Because of Hurricane Ike she was relocated to Huntsville Home Health Care Center where she continued to receive loving care just as she had for the previous 6 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Patsy Williamson; son, Pat Sapaurx, Jr.; grandson, Dale Willett; four brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her husband, Pat Sapaurx; grandson, Chris Willett and wife Pam; great grand daughter, Cynthia Morrison and her children, Christa and Caden; cousins, Allen and Judy Screen and Alvin DeRoche.
Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Willett, Robert Hidalgo, Allen Screen, Mark Allen Screen, Ernie DeRoche and Jerry Little.
A rosary service will be Thursday, September 25, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, September 26, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the church followed by graveside services at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Officiating will be Father John Hughes.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to St. Judes Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys, Beaumont, TX 77706
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the College Street Health Care Center for their excellent care of Mrs. Saparux.
