Frances Schultz Sparks
September 12, 1919 — May 19, 2012
A Beaumont native, Frances Schultz Sparks was born on September 12, 1919 and passed away at home Saturday, May 19. Married for 70 years, she was preceded in death by her husband, H.B. Sparks, who passed away in January of this year.
Except for a brief time when her family lived in Tulsa, OK and later when she followed H.B. on his various camp assignments during World War II, Frances has lived in Beaumont all of her life.
Frances was a business woman and entrepreneur. For many years, she handled the office operations for her father's business, Coastal Tool Company. Later, Frances and H.B. founded and operated Coastal Fabricating and Welding in Beaumont.
She is survived by her only son, Michael Terry Sparks of Safety Harbor, FL, her only grandson, Christopher Sparks of Beaumont and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 PM Monday, May 21 at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 22 in the Serenity Mausoleum of Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
