Freeman E. 'Moose' Peart, 79, of Bridge City, Texas died Thursday, April 15, 2010, at his home.
A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held from 12:00-4:00 p.m., Saturday April 24 at Freeman's home, 2255 Granger Dr. in Bridge City. Cremation will be under the direction of Claybar Haven of Rest Crematory.
Born in Houston, Texas on December 5, 1930, Freeman was the son of Freeman Paul Peart and Amy Richard Peart. He worked as a pipefitter for Local Pipefitter 195.
He was preceded in death by his wife, John Eva Peart; son, Murphy Wade Peart; and his sister, Francis Louise Vickers.
Freeman is survived by his sons and daughters-in-laws, Freeman Thomas and Cathy Peart of Bridge City, John Robert and Trudy Peart also of Bridge City, and Douglas Wayne and Mary Peart of Wisconsin; grandchildren, Shane Idleman, Melanie Kline, Cindy Peart, Elizabeth Myers, Michael Peart, and Jacob Peart; great-grandchildren, Jack and Hazel Kline, Abigail Myers, and Charlotte Peart.
