To the Family of Garland Gresham, He was a great and gentle man. I had the pleasure of riding with him in the Orange County Sheriff Posse. He and My Daddy were good friends. When he found out who my Daddy was he took me under his wing. I always looked forward to seeing him on practice nights. Although I have not seen him in a long time, I have thought about him through the years. He left a place in my heart and I will cherish my memories of him forever. Rest easy, my friend. My you ride in the heavens about always. Love Always, Sharon Dixon Dowden

I am so sorry to hear of Garland's passing. He was a very sweet man that gave the best hugs to me whenever he came to CVS. We had many wonderful visits over the past 30 plus years. I also will remember the fudge he would bring at Christmas. He will be missed. I am out of town now sorry to miss the service. Pam Cheek, former manager of CVS on Strickland

Garland was a true friend to Tom & myself. We journeyed to check out horses & shared many a precious memory, whether it was the Sheriff Posse or just him helping me learn more about horses. He was a great gentleman & we continued to visit by phone after DuPont moved us away from Orange. He will never be forgotten, he was a true western gentleman & I'll miss him truly!
