I'm so sorry to hear about George. He and Chris were such good friends. I'm afraid we might not be able to make it tonight, but our thoughts and prayers are with you. Bessie Smith Hawthorne

My Uncle George gave the best hugs! I remember those hugs throughout my life. My first memory is when he returned from the Marines in early fifties I think. I used to write to him while he was a Camp Pendleton, CA. We had a great visit recently with his sister Aunt Dorothy Benoit and my mother, Eve Anna. Harvey along with cousins Faye Crowley and Brenda Tamplin. Thank you Faye and Brenda for bringing hiim. We all knew it may have been their last face to face visit. Rest in peace, Uncle George.
