Funeral services for George P. Sibley, 91, formerly of Beaumont, Texas will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 31, 2007 in the Charles S. Kelley Memorial Chapel at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home with burial following in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. His family will receive guests from 7-9:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Sibley was born July 23, 1916 in Jackson, Louisiana to Silas and Margaret Sibley and passed away December, 26, 2007 in Dallas, Texas. He retired as a telephone project supervisor at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by his parents and brothers and sisters, he is survived by his wife, Rebecca Sibley; sons, George P. Sibley, Jr. and Thomas E. Sibley; four grandchildren, Shanna, Tom, George III, and Milinda; and seven great-grandchildren.
