Georgia Faye McConnell

Georgia Fay McConnell of Beaumont passed away on March 22, 2010, at the age of 94 years. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lillian and Donald Morgan of Beaumont, son and daughter-in-law, Cecil and Mary Jane McConnell of Wildwood and sister, Dorothy Sharp of Hemphill, formerly of Port Arthur.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Glen and Teri Morgan, Danny Morgan, Harold Morgan, Marc and Teri McConnell, Coby and Christine McConnell, Jeffery and Rachal McConnell, Connie Hollis and Karen Duke, 15 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Georgia was preceded in death by her husband Robert Garner McConnell and son, Bailey McConnell, sisters, Sadalia Ballard and Mildred Whitlock, brother, Wallace Browning, great-grandson, Josh Hollis and her parents Connie and Luther Browning.
Family and holidays were special to Georgia. She loved to bake and give out recipes when asked and if you were familiar with a pinch, a smidgen and a dab, you might come close to turning out one of her favorites.
Services for Georgia McConnell will be held at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home, on Thursday, March 25th at 11:00 a.m.with burial following at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday evening, March 24th from 5-8p.m. at the funeral home.
