I remember when I was a very young girl spending the night with my cousin Vickie/Rene and Aunt Georgia made homemade ice cream. I thought that was simply amazing! Then in my early 20's she made fried catfish that uncle Harold had caught. Me, not being a seafood "lover" tried it not to hurt her feelings. Guess what, it simply amazing. I actually ate it all. But to this day I still don't eat fish. None that I have tried have ever taste like hers. Oh and let's not forget her chicken n dumplings, chocolate pie, etc, etc! I will miss her, her cooking and her laughter. Rest in peace.
