Obituary
Georgie Ann Jeanise, 82, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, passed away on July 7, 2020, at Guardian House in Lake Charles.
A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 10, at Autumn Oaks Cemetery, in Orange.
Born in Maurice, Louisiana, on March 24, 1938, she was the daughter of John Datly Guidry and Lou May Guidry. Georgie was a devoted member of Grace Lutheran Church. She was a wonderful cook and could always be found in the kitchen making dinner for her beloved family. Georgie loved dancing with her late husband, Henry and had a heart of gold. She was a wonderful wife, mom, and maw maw, and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Henry J. Jeanise; parents, John and Lou May Guidry; sister, Zula Marie Folsom; and nephew, Troy Guidry.
She is survived by her daughter Sheryl Nance and husband Lowell Nance; grandson, Cameron Nance; and siblings, John Guidry, Bill Guidry, and Dianna Miguez; nieces, Janie Self and Sandra Bernard; and nephew, Keith Folsom.
